The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, on Monday rejoiced with the Mutawali of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammed Alimi Abdulrazaq, on his attainment of 67 years on earth.

The monarch described Dr. Alimi as a distinguished legal Icon, foremost technocrat, politician, shrewed businessman and amiable grassroot mobilizer who is well connected to the society both nationally and globally.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this in his congratulatory message to the celebrant and the entire AbdulRazaq’s family in a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona.

He further confirmed that Dr. Alimi Abdulrazaq is such a wonderful, humble and brilliant personality stressing that, “His humility and patience is second to none”.

The Emir noted that the celebrant’s unique background has further paved way for him to emerge colourful among his peers, thereby contributing immensely to the economic and political landscapes of Nigeria as the Chairman of National Iron Ore Minning Company, Itakpe between 2000 and 2005 as well as the former Executive Commissioner, Legal, Licensing and Enforcement with the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ( NERC) among other national assignments and positions of higher responsibilities.

While congratulating the Mutawali of Ilorin on his outstanding achievements as well as attainment of 67years on earth, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari urged him to remain grateful to Almighty Allah, be committed and uphold the tenet of good deeds to the less privileged in the society.

He therefore prayed Almighty Allah to grant him sound health, wisdom and comfort in order to achieve more for the development of Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
