Gbenga Power distributes rice palliative to beneficiaries in Kwara

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Gbenga Power-Oyekunle, has distributed bags of rice worth millions of naira to beneficiaries in Igbaja, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State under his pet project, Gbenga Power Foundation.

Unveiling the rice for distribution, the APC chairman in the state, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, charged the party ward chairmen to ensure the rice palliative get to target beneficiaries in the spirit of the festive season.

Fagbemi also harped on unity among party faithful from the grassroots and familiarize themselves with disciplinary posture of the party as any member found culpable of disregard to the party’s constitution would not be handled with kidsgloves

He announced that any empowerment from party members now placed on the party’s porview to towards alleviating peoples suffering and lauded the Gbenga Power for the gesture

In his remarks, the Founder Gbenga Power Foundation, Hon. Gbenga Power Oyekunle said the food palliative is part of his singular effort of celebrating yuletide season with his people

Power-Oyekunle who pointed out that rice distribution is expected to cut across APC wards in Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Local Governments, described Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s style of leadership as purposeful

Also Speaking, the Elerin of Adanla, Oba Abdulganiyu Adedunmoye cautioned politicians in Ifelodun Local Government and entire Kwara-South against politics backstabbing and be united to attract tremendous development to the Senatorial district

TIC Chairman,Ifelodun Local Government, Jide Shonibare chronicled philanthropical gesture of Gbenga Power and eulogized him for being of succour to the needy and prayed for realization of his personal and political ambitions

In his remarks, the lawmaker representing Omupo Constituency ,Barr. Abdulganiyu Folabi-Salau solicited National Assembly seat for Omu Constituency having been deprived the opportunity for long.
