Suspected hoodlums have attempted to attack the Ikoyi Correctional Service centre in Lagos state.

The Lagos state police command confirmed the incident but said that security agents are on ground to repel the attack.

Videos shared online show smoke emanating from areas around the vicinity of the prison facility.
