The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has commiserated with the Borno and Bama Emirate Councils over the death of Mallam Abba Kyari.

This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by his media aide, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona.

Sulu-Gambari in his condolence message to the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi and the Shehu of Bama, Alhaji Kyari Ibn El-Kanemi, urged the monarchs to find solace in the fact that late Abba Kyari lived an exemplary life and impacted positively on nation-building process.

The Emir added that, “As an integral part and strong pillar in the nation’s scheme of governance, the late Chief of Staff clearly played his roles as a dependable and trusted ally of Mr. President which by extension built more confidence in his principal to provide quality leadership for the nation.

“He was a true reflection of humility, loyalty and excellence as required of him as the Chief of Staff to Nigeria’s President. He couldn’t have done better than what he had done going by the nature of his position in government. He was indeed a true ambassador of the highly respected Kanuri tribe in particular, a proud Nigerian and a global citizen in general.”

The Emir also prayed Allah to give the Muslim ummah, Nigerians and the entire humanity the fortitude to bear the great vacuum which his death had created.
