Reps member defeats Niger Deputy Gov, 8 others at APC guber primaries

Niger State Deputy Governor, Ahmed Ketso, on Friday lost the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) to a sitting member of the House of Representatives representing the Chanchaga Constituency, Mohammed Bago.

ROYAL NEWS gathered that Bago beat nine other governorship aspirants to emerge victorious in the struggle for the party’s ticket.

A former Attorney General of Kebbi State, Nasiru Ibrahim, who announced the results said that 1,049 delegates were accredited to participate in the elections.
