United States President Donald Trump has announced that the White House will host an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event on June 14, 2026, coinciding with his 80th birthday.
Trump made the announcement while addressing Navy sailors at the Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia, saying, “On June 14 next year, we’re going to have a big UFC fight at the White House, right at the White House, on the grounds of the White House.” The date also marks Flag Day in the United States.
The move comes after UFC President Dana White had initially scheduled the event for July 4, 2026, to coincide with the nation’s 250th Independence anniversary. White previously described the fight card as “the greatest ever assembled in the history of this company.”
