Lagos, Nigeria, August 20, 2025 — ITREALMS Media has joined the PREVENT Waste Alliance, a global network working to minimize waste, tackle pollutants, and promote circular economy practices worldwide.
Confirming the membership, Anika Schumann, on behalf of the PREVENT Alliance Secretariat in Bonn, Germany, said:
“First of all, I would like to officially inform you that your membership has been confirmed by the Steering Committee and that your organisation is now a member of the PREVENT Waste Alliance. Welcome!”
Reacting to the development, Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke, Lead Consulting Strategist/Group Executive Editor of ITREALMS Media, described the alliance as a powerful platform for collaboration on global sustainability.
“We believe our membership in this esteemed alliance will strengthen our capacity to tackle environmental challenges while creating opportunities to share knowledge and develop solutions with like-minded organizations,” he said.
Nweke noted that since 2020, ITREALMS Media has spearheaded the E-Waste Dialogue initiative, focusing on awareness creation around the health and environmental hazards of electronic waste, while promoting policies that support a circular economy.
The PREVENT Waste Alliance works across plastics, e-waste, organics, and resource recovery, driving innovations to minimize waste and maximize reuse. ITREALMS Media pledged active participation in the alliance’s working groups to advance these goals.
