Coronavirus: El-Rufai’s wife sends message to Nigerians as husband tests positive

Kaduna State first lady, Hadiza El-Rufai has urged Nigerians to offer prayers for the quick recovery of her husband who tested positive for coronavirus.
She made the appeal a few minutes after her husband disclosed that he tested positive for the virus on Twitter.
She wrote: “Dear Tweeps, my husband, the Governor of Kaduna State has tested positive for COVID-19. Please keep us in your prayers.”
El-Rufai, however, emerged as the first COVID-19 case in Kaduna State and the second known governor to test positive for the virus in Nigeria. Bauchi’s Bala Mohammed is the first.
Apart from Mohammed, the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, had also tested positive.
