President of the youth wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN, Daniel David Kadzai has commended Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for the completion of the Rivers Ecumenical Center, noting that it was a unique achievement that would unite Christians in the state.
Kadzai made the commendation at a news conference in Abuja on Wednesday and assured the governor of the unalloyed support from all Christian youths across the country, while urging him to remain steadfast.
He said the completion of the Ecumenical centre is a demonstration of the governor’s love for the church and commitment to the unity of Christians.
Kadzai said, ‘’On behalf of Nigerian Christian youths, I want to appreciate Governor Nyesom Wike who according to most Christians in Rivers and beyond is not just a governor, but a man with a good heart. Wike has got an accommodating heart that appears very difficult for an ordinary person to comprehend.
“I’m deeply excited by his gesture of building an Ecumenical centre for all Christians in Rivers State. It took the combination of hard work and goodwill for the uncommon governor to have achieved this within his short stay in office despite the normal political distractions here and there.’’
Speaking further on the unprecedented love shown to Christians in Rivers State, the youth leader said, “Wike to many of us is the only Governor who has selflessly demonstrated unqualified love for Christendom and we appreciate his dynamic leadership style and quality.’’
Praying for the progress of the governor and the State under his mantle, the outspoken youth leader avowed that, ‘’ All Christian youths will continue to pray for the progress of the ‘project governor’ so God could further elevate him and the State. ‘’
Assuring the governor of the unyielding support of all Christian youths across the country, Kadzai said, “We want to assure the governor of our support. We are solidly behind him; he should not be intimidated by detractors. We will continue to celebrate him. God bless Nyesom Wike, God bless Rivers State.’’
