Fountain University produces 23 First Class at 7th convocation

No fewer than 23 First Class graduands have been produced by the Fountain University, Osogbo, ROYAL NEWS reports.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Abdullateef Usman, stated this on Tuesday at the 7th convocation and 10th anniversary press conference.

The VC said the university will graduate 284 students from various academic departments in the university.

He said “the College of Management and Social Sciences (COMAS) is graduating 171 while 101 students are graduating from the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CONAS).”

The VC said 107 students made Second Class Honours (Upper Division), 128 made Second Class Honours (Lower Division) while 26 students graduated with Third Class Honours.

“These students, after their duration of learning in the university have been both academically and morally molded to be good and responsible ambassadors of the country anywhere they go,” he said.
