Hon Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has said
African Aviation and Aerospace University will provide students with international qualifications, including ICAO and WMO certifications.

Keyamo disclosed this when he inspected facilities at the temporary campus of African Aviation and Aerospace University at Bill Clinton Drive along on Wednesday in Abuja.

He further stated that the University has been in collaboration and affiliations with international renowned organizations, and schools such as Qatar Government, Swinburne University Australia, University of Coventry UK, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and most recently, Emirates Aviation University, Dubai.

Keyemo said the preparation to commence the development of the permanent site for the University was in top gear, as the school is currently situated on a temporary campus owned by the Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) “The academic journey has already commenced with the admission of 28 undergraduate pioneer students with 14 students each in both Aviation Business and Meteorology. This was done via successfully collaborating with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The School of Postgraduate is opening its application portal for M.Sc. programmes this Month” he added.

The University Registrar, Mustapha Sheik explained that the university offers two courses for undergraduates for now and intends to increase the courses in the next year’s academic session. He pointed out that the admission portal for undergraduates will be closed this week and the portal for the postgraduates will be opened next week for interested applicants.
