Late Photojournalist, Ibrahim Salami lived fullfilled life—Group
The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has described the death of a Photo-Journalist in Kwara State Alh. Ibrahim Salami of National Pilot as a great loss.
Alh. Salami who died yesterday has been buried at his Residence along Ilorin International Airport Road, Ilorin.
In a tribute, the Group described the deceased as a disciplined, hardworking and committed Professional who did his job with admiration by all.
In a Press Statement released on Sunday by its National Coordinator, Malam Abdullahi Ibrahim, the Group also described the deceased as admirable personality and truly religious person with good human relationship with his colleagues – old and and young, men and women and indeed to all.
Salami’s calibre the Group said is rare among professionals as he was never caught in disagreement with anyone inspite of high demands journalism profession entails.
Media Watch Group stated that though death at the age of 75 is a matured one in Nigeria where life expectancy is 54 years, the Group took solace in the fact that Alh. Ibrahim Salami lived a fulfilled life as he was known to spiritually committed, admirably competent and dedicated to his job and was full of humility.
The Group prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive him his sins and accept him into paradise known as Al-Jannatul-Firdaous….Ameen.
