Neymar opens up on club he’ll play for next season after PSG 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munic

Date:

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, has said he has no plan to dump the French champions.

Neymar said he is happy at the club, thereby ending speculation about his future.

PSG progressed to the last four of this season’s Champions League on Tuesday despite a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.

Neymar’s contract at PSG expires next year and the Brazilian has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona.

PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi said after the match last night that he does not expect Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to leave the club.

After the match, he was quoted telling Sky Italy, “Neymar contract? I think Neymar will stay here at PSG for a long time.”

And Neymar confirmed he will commit his future to the club.

He told ESPN Brazil: “I’m staying at PSG, the contract extension with PSG is no longer a topic. Obviously, I feel very comfortable and at home here at PSG. I feel happier than before”

Al-Khelaifi was later quoted by RMC Sport, per Romano saying: “We’ll invest a lot in the club, Neymar and Mbappe have no excuse to leave PSG.”
