Offa armed robbery attack disheartening—-Emir of Ilorin

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Traditional Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has condemned the armed robbery attack in Offa describing it as barbaric and ungodly, ROYAL NEWS.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who expressed shock over the incidence disclosed this on Friday in his condolence message signed by the National Secretary of Shehu Alimi Foundation for Peace and Development, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona.

He however urged clerics across the state to use the occasion of Friday jumat service to embark on special prayers for the nation especially Kwara State stressing that, “ My  prayer has always being seeing a peaceful and prosperous state of harmony where live and property would be adequately guaranteed.”

He condoled with the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Commissioner of Police, CP Lawan Ado, the good people of Offa and Kwarans at large over the unfortunate incidence.

The Emir also prayed for the remain of the deceased and wish the injured quick recovery stressing, “ I receive the news of the attack with crude shock,  sadness and disaffection especially with the level of casualties involved.”

The Emir therefore warned residence to be vigilant and security conscious in order to curb reoccurrence of such dastard act even as he prayed Allah to console the families of victims of the attack.
