The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division and Commander Sector 1 Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Brigadier General Abubakar Haruna has called for more synergy and continuous collaboration with the Borno Emirate.
The GOC made the call when he paid courtesy visit to the Shehu of Borno, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-amin El-Kanemi CFR at his palace on Tuesday, 27 February, 2024. 
He said his visit to the palace was key to the Division’s operational activities and also to register his presence before the Royal Father after assumption of duty as the 14th Chief Wolf of the Division.
In his remarks, the Shehu congratulated the GOC on his well-deserved appointment and commended the doggedness and untiring efforts of the Nigerian Army in the fight against insurgency which he says has brought relative peace and tranquility in Borno State. 
He further charged the military not to relent on their efforts but must ensure that the remnant of Boko Haram Insurgents and their counterparts are completely decimated.
The shehu therefore wished the GOC and his team unparallel success in their future operations.
