Twenty-nine ships, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods, are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from May 22 to June 3.

According to “Shipping Position’’’, a publication of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, empty containers, petrol and containers laden with goods.

The NPA publication said that seven  Junhad arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel and petroleum.

It said that 15 others were at the ports discharging empty containers, buck wheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATK), bulk gas containers and petroleum.

It said that they were discharging bulk wheat, petrol, general cargoes, containers, salt, bulk fertiliser, empty containers and frozen fish.

NPA said that 30 others, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods, were expected to arrive in Lagos ports between May 19 and June 3.

It said that the expected ships would bring base oil, general cargoes, bulk fertiliser, bulk wheat, containers, bulk sugar and petrol.

The publication also reported that eight others had arrived at the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel and petrol.
