Trump Says US Forces Could Exit Iran Soon

Date:

President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that the United States could conclude its long-term military operations against Iran within two to three weeks. He stated that no formal deal with Iran is required for the US to withdraw its forces.

Speaking at the White House, Trump said the US exit could happen “within two weeks, maybe three weeks,” emphasizing that Iran does not need to negotiate or reach any agreement for the withdrawal to occur.

Earlier, Trump criticized European allies, including the United Kingdom, for struggling to access jet fuel due to restrictions around the Strait of Hormuz. He suggested they take stronger action independently to secure the area.

Meanwhile, conflict continues in the Middle East, with heavy airstrikes reported in Beirut, Lebanon. Israel’s military targeted a Hezbollah commander and another senior figure, highlighting ongoing regional tensions.

Trump also announced he would address the nation again on Wednesday, signaling further updates on US military actions and foreign policy regarding Iran and the wider Middle East.
