The deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has gotten the third appointment since his dethronement from the stool and relocation to Nasarawa.

On Friday, the authority of Lagos State University, (LASU), has named Sanusi II as the chairman of the 24th convocation lecture of the institution coming up on March 26, 2020, to be delivered by the President of African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Benedict Oramah.

ROYAL NEWS reports that the Vice Chancellor of LASU, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, stated this on Friday.

Titled: “The Future of Developing Economies in a Digital World”, the lecture is part of activities lined up to mark the convocation ceremony where a total of 8,959 will be awarded certificates in various degrees and diplomas.

However, with the visit of the Governor Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna State to the deposed Emir on Friday, facts have emerged that Sanusi II may depart Awe local government area of Nasarawa State following the court rulings granting him freedom from confinement.
