Breaking… Late District Head of Ballah for burial 2pm today

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers’ Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has approved that the funeral prayers for the remains of the late District Head of Ballah, Alhaji Salman Olarongbe AbdulKadir, be held by 2pm immediately after Zuhr prayer today (Wednesday).

In a statement issued by the Emir through his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Janazah prayer will come up at the deceased’s residence located at Agor Area in Ilorin.

The prayer would be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam-Solih OON.

The statement enjoined Muslim faithful across the Ilorin emirate and beyond to be part of the spiritual exercise in honour of the late traditional chief stressing that the deceased lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation as devout Muslim and community leader.

Late Alhaji Salman Olarongbe AbdulKadir died on Tuesday night and was until his death a prominent member of the Ilorin Emirate Council and a Prince of the Shehu Alimi dynasty.
