The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commiserated over the death of the Yariman Gombe and Senior District Head of Gombe, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abubakar Umar, who died on Tuesday.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a condolence message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, expressed his condolence to the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar CFR, the entire people of Gombe Emirate Council as well as government and people of Gombe state over the demise of the traditional chief.

He described late district head of Gombe as a Godfearing man who did his best to ensure the preservation of the tradition of Gombe Emirate council throughout his lifetime.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore prayed Allah to grant late Alhaji Abdulkadir Abubakar Umar forgiveness, accept his good deeds and admit him into al-janatul firdaos.
