The Share Descendants Union, (SDU), has inaugurated new National Executive Council, ROYAL NEWS has gathered. The new National President is Elder Gabriel Y. Jimoh.
The union also inaugurated four Vice Presidents (Central) Alhaji Abdulganiyu Bolaji, (Southwest) Alhaji Yemi Lawal and (North) Mr Abdulganiyu Navajo respectively while a reporter with Herald Newspapers, Mr. Ahmed Ajiboye, emerged as the National Publicity Secretary.
Inaugurating the new executive at the Share Township Hall in Share, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, on Wednesday, the immediate past National President, Professor Jamiu Sulaiman, stressed the need for the new executive to hit ground and run to attract growth and development to the ancient town.
The varsity don who advised them to work as a team and always speak in unison, cautioned all the members of the executive against divisive tendencies and urged them to put the community first in all their dealings.
He also appealed to all members of the executive to justify the confidence reposed on them by the community and bring their experiences in their various fields of endeavours to bear to develop the town.
The newly elected President, Elder Gabriel Y Jimoh, had in his remarks expressed gratitude to the good people of Share and promised to justify the confidence reposed on the new executive by being diligent and committed to project Share.
He also solicited the support and cooperation of the community to ensure the successful tenure of the new executive.
