This year’s National Qur’an Memorisation Competition begins on Friday 12th December 2025, at the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.
Contingent from Kwara State, led by the State Coordinator – Sheikh Waliyullahi Aliyy-Kamal, ë arrived safely in Maiduguri and have joined their colleagues from other States in the Federation for the National Contest.
Declaring the competition open, the Borno State Governor – Professor Babagana Umara Zulum described the National Competition as a unique Event as it features memorisers of the Holy Qur’an who are putting its contents into action in their moral and spiritual lives.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that the Govenor commended the officials and participants and urged them to put out their best throughout the ten-day Competition.
