Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has been declared as the winner of the November 16, 2019 governorship election in the state, ROYAL NEWS has learnt.
The Kogi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal madebthe afiirmation on Saturday.
The tribunal sitting in Abuja, in its ruling two of the three members of the panel dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its governorship candidate in the election, Musa Wada.
The Chairman of the tribunal who delivered the lead judgement, Justice Kashim Kaigama, and another member, Justice Baraka Wali, held that the petitioners failed to prove any of the grounds of their petition.
They, therefore, awarded the cost of N500, 000 against the petitioners in favour of the respondents.
