Kidnapped Sokoto Arabic School Students Regain Freedom

The 15 abducted students abducted from the Arabic school in Sokoto state have regained their freedom.

The special adviser to the governor of Sokoto State, on security matters, Col. Ahmed Usman (rtd), stated this while speaking with our correspondent.

Recall that Bandits reportedly kidnapped no fewer than 15 Tsangaya students at Gidan Bakuso in the Gada local government area of Sokoto state.

Confirming the development, the spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force, Sokoto State command, ASP Ahmed Rufai, said the students have been reunited with their families.

He said, “You know it’s a military operation and from the information available to us here, they have been released.

“I am sure you will get the details if their released soon” he added.
