Man allegedly beats father to death with shovel in Imo
The Imo State Police Command, has arrested a mentally deranged man, Emmanuel Ekweogu, for allegedly killing his father with a shovel in Ugbelle, Imo state.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that, Ekweogu, was trying to leave the house with his mother’s bible and his father, Ifeanyi Ekweogu, stopped him.
The angry suspect reportedly used a shovel to hit his father on his head, leading to his death.

According to the state police, the suspect has been arrested and remanded in prison till court hearing.
It was gathered that Ekweogu has been mentally unstable for years now and there has been no significant improvement in his health.
