Emir Sulu-Gambari mourns late District Head, Salman AbdulKadir
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir described the deceased as a complete gentleman who was endowed with wisdom and patience.
“He served meritoriously as a public servant with the Sokoto State Government in different capacities most importantly, as an education officer and administrator”, he added.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari said: “Inna lillahi waina ilaehi roooojihun. I received the news of the demise of the District Head of Ballah, Alhaji Salman Olarongbe Abdulkadir who was also my uncle and a prominent member of the Ilorin Emirate Council with sadness and total submission to the Will of Almighty Allah.”
He also extended his condolences to the entire members of the Shehu Alimi dynasty, Ilorin Emirate Council, immediate ans extended family members and humanity in general over the unfortunate incidence.
The monarch prayed that Allah grant him eternal comfort, forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
Funeral prayers for the late District Head of Ballah of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Salman Olarongbe Abdulkadir, will hold today (Wednesday) 27th March 2024.
Recalled that the late traditional chief died on Tuesday night in Ilorin. However the funeral prayer is scheduled to come up at 2pm at his residence at Ago area.
Muslim faithful are enjoin to be part of the spiritual exercise in honour of the late District Head.
