ROYAL NEWS commiserates with NUJ, NALVEJ, others over Yemi Ademokoya' death

The management of ROYAL NEWS Online Newspapers has commiserated with the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists,  (NUJ) Kwara State chapter over the demise of a retired ace broadcaster, Chief Yemi Ademokoya Agboola, who died on Saturday.

 

The medium in a statement issued by its Editor-In-Chief, Arowona abdulazeez, also extended its condolences to the National League of Veteran Journalists, (NALVEJ) in the state over the colossal loss.

 

It was gathered that Chief (Mrs) Ademokoya Agboola died at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, (UITH) after a brief illness at the age of 67,  according to a WhatsApp message sent by NALVEJ Chairman,  Muhammed Tunde Akanbi, on Sunday.

 

ROYAL NEWS described the deceased as a core professional who contributed immensely to media practice as a staff of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, (Radio Kwara) before her retirement.

 

“She was one of the finest broadcasters during her days in the service, a goal-getter, humble and committed mother to so many upcoming/would-be broadcasters. We shall miss you so dearly, Iya Ademokoya as fondly called.”

 

ROYAL NEWS however extended its heartfelf sympathy to the alumni Association of the International Institute of Journalism,  (IIJ) where late Yemi Ademokoya Agboola also passed through in her quest for further studies over the unfortunate incidence.

 

“We prayed God to comfort the families she left behind, grant her eternal rest and give her fiends,  associates and tbe entire media family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
