Take me like your daughter, CP Adelesi tells Emir Sulu-Gambari

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has assured the new Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi, of his support towards ensuring that she achieve her mandate of combating crimes and criminality.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this when he received the new police boss in his palace on Tuesday stressing that, “You’re the first female police commissioner in Kwara State and I assure you of my unflinching supports and prayers always.”

The Emir added that, “Try to work in full cooperation with your team in order to ensure that your mandates of securing lives and property in the state are achieved. In as much as you cooperate with your team, you need to also be careful as a law enforcement officer. May Almighty Allah make your tenure a success and guide your affairs.”

The monarch however commended the Police Public Relations Officer, Kwara State Command, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, for his outstanding contributions to the fight against crimes in the state adding that, I have been following your activities with keen interests and I am always proud of your performances.”

In her remarks, CP Adelesi appealed the Emir take her like his daughter by giving her the necessary supports and prayers that will enable her succeed just like her predecessors who later rose to attain the peak of Police career.

She also plead with the monarch to widely open his door for in order to enable her consult regularly on issues that will assist her jobs in the state.
