A powerful traditional ruler, the Emir of Azara in Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa state, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Kabiru Musa Ibrahim, is a renowned Surgeon who has over the years used his career to save many lives through surgical operations across the country.
The monarch used the occasion of his 60th birthday to perform free surgery to patients even as he thanked God for sparing his life to witness the day and promised not to relent in his efforts towards ensuring that he continues to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden in the society.

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Kabiru Musa Ibrahim was born on 27th Feb. 1964 and attended Mangu Secondary School, Mangu, (1978-1983), College of Medicine, University of Jos, (1995-2001); Housemanship, (1991-1992) National Youth Service Corps,Garki, Abuja, (1993-1994) Residency training, Jos University Teaching Hospital, Postgraduate training, Obstetrics and Gynaecology; cr Medical Officer, Plateau Hospital, (1993-94).
Visiting Consultant, Dalhatu Arafat Specialist Hospital, Ufia; Co-ordinator, Outreach Rural Surgery Programme, through which he has rendered services to 2,105 patients, since 1992.
He is a Fellow of West African College of Surgeons, Member Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria; Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, Nasarawa State Representative, Zone D Motherhood Committee.
The world-class surgeon was appointed as the Emir of Azara in 2001.
